Refund Policy

Effective date: June 10, 2026

This Refund Policy covers prepaid wallet top-ups purchased for the ZapBz service operated by Zap Business LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service. The short version: unspent top-up credit can be refunded to your original payment method within 90 days, on request, after a quick review.

1. What Can Be Refunded

  • Wallet top-ups paid by card (Stripe) or PayPal, within 90 days of the payment date.
  • Only unspent credit: if your wallet balance no longer covers the amount of the original top-up, that top-up (or the spent portion) is not refundable.
  • Promotional credit - signup credit, top-up bonuses, and referral credit - has no cash value and is never refundable.
  • Charges for services already delivered (transcriptions, AI answers, stickers) are not refundable, except where the service clearly failed - tell us and we will review it.

2. How to Request a Refund

  • In WhatsApp: reply /refund to the Zap bot, pick the top-up, and add a short reason. The request goes straight into our review queue.
  • By email: info@zap.bz with the date and amount of the top-up.
  • Requests are reviewed by a person, normally within 24 hours, and approved at our discretion under this policy.

3. How Refunds Are Paid

  • Refunds go to the original payment method only - never to a different card, account, or person.
  • When a refund is approved, the amount is deducted from your Zap wallet immediately and you get a WhatsApp confirmation.
  • The card refund usually appears on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Refunds are issued in USD for the amount originally charged; your bank handles any currency conversion on its side.

4. Chargebacks

Please use this refund process instead of disputing the charge with your bank - it is faster for you and keeps your account in good standing. If you open a chargeback, the disputed amount is removed from your wallet immediately and your account is placed under review while the dispute is open; repeated chargebacks may lead to account suspension. Details are in the Terms of Service.

5. Closed Accounts

If your account is closed - by you or by us - remaining purchased credit is handled through this same process: request within 90 days of the original payment, unspent amounts only, refunded to the original payment method.
