How fast is a transcript?
Most voice notes return a transcript in under 3 seconds. Long audios (10+ minutes) take a bit longer but rarely more than 15 seconds. You'll see it land in the same chat.
Do unused credits expire?
No — never. Once you top up, your wallet balance stays until you spend it. No expiry, no monthly resets, no "use it or lose it" pressure.
Will Zap transcribe other people's voice notes in groups?
No — only your own audios in groups, by design. WhatsApp's privacy rules don't allow third-party transcription of others' messages in shared chats. In 1:1 chats where you've been pair-authorized, both sides' audios are transcribed.
What languages do you support?
100+ for transcription (auto-detected), 50+ for translation. The site itself is in English, Portuguese, and Spanish — pick your flag in the header.
How do I top up my wallet?
Any amount via PayPal — $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, or pick your own. We support Apple Pay and card too. The minimum top-up is $1 (which buys 10 minutes at $0.10/min). Add $25+ for a bonus tier — see the pricing section.
Can I get a refund on unused credit?
Yes — email info@zap.bz within 30 days of top-up and we'll refund whatever's left. After 30 days credit stays in the wallet (it never expires) but is no longer refundable.
Is my audio stored anywhere?
No. Audio is processed in real time and deleted immediately after the transcript is generated. We never store recordings. Only the resulting text + metadata (chat, timestamp, duration) lives on your account.
